My plan - bought a second hand pugsley rolling chassis, built up sensibly, if it's not for me, then I won't lose much. I really liked the look of the canyon, but you'd lose a shitload selling that.

Fatbikes aren't any better on ice - unless you want to fit spiked fat tyres. A pair of them cost about as much as an On One rolling chassis.. You'd be better with narrow spiked tyres on whatever bike you already have.

I just ordered a Felt Double Double 30. check it out on bikediscount, absolute bargain! Shame I have to wait a month or 2 fr it to get here though.
