looking for a cheap fat bike.
charge, on one, anything cheaper?
My plan - bought a second hand pugsley rolling chassis, built up sensibly, if it's not for me, then I won't lose much. I really liked the look of the canyon, but you'd lose a shitload selling that.
do not lower yourself Tony they are friggin hard work!
was looking to get one as a back up commuter for icy muddy offroad commutes this winter.
You will end up doing more than commuting on it.
Fatbikes aren't any better on ice - unless you want to fit spiked fat tyres. A pair of them cost about as much as an On One rolling chassis.. You'd be better with narrow spiked tyres on whatever bike you already have.
thats a no then i suppose.
bloody heck, ages since a spunked a load of cash on owt bikey, need to scratch a itch........ 😀

I'm not saying "don't get a fatbike", it's just not for what you describe.
I just ordered a Felt Double Double 30. check it out on bikediscount, absolute bargain! Shame I have to wait a month or 2 fr it to get here though.
Try a Krampus. 🙂
Loving my Niner with a 29+ front.
Get an On-One but immediately, without delay, get it painted black.

What spiky tyres have you got for the ice?
I can't believe how many 'what bike' threads ton starts!
How much are those Charge ones?
Saw one in the window of LBS today for £800 (I don't know if that's a good deal or normal price?)

The best plan IMO.
