eh??
nipped in the bud well done chaps
What makes some people tick?
what????
aww, has ssjeff gone 😥
Some nobhead was being unbelievably insensitive in the thread about a poster's friend dying.
Well done mods
Basically someone sought advice, a very sick troll posted and the Mods deleted their posts in double quick time.
good work!
Ahh I guessed that was what happened. Funny world.
the "chat" forum i expect? i only really look at the bike one, a much better class of poster there *irony emoticon* 😉
phew, ssjeff rides on, then !
(didn't see the other thread, but well done anyway)
Aye, nice one. Now could someone remind me of the name of that nice young lady in the deleted thread, I was saving that for later and can't remember her name to google.
I'm sure i wasn't the only one to report it
I could show you all the screen capture?
But there's no need.
Quite a derelict mind.
😉
There's quite a bit of banter on here, speshly between some of the 'regulars', and those what know each other in Real Life™. There's also a few rivalries, some amicable, some not so. There's very little real hatred though, and even some quite big 'enemies' can find common ground, and mutual respect.
Couple of people have said some pretty nasty things about/towards me lately, and I found myself torn between responding, and not, but it was impossible to really ignore what they said, and why. I just think it's sad that someone can resort to proper nastiness for no real reason other than they don't get on with another person's online persona. Yeah, we can get sucked into heated 'debates', some of us are worse than others. Ahem. Sometimes you can lose sight of where the 'line' is, but if you can at least take a step back now and then, and admit at least to yourself that you've bin out of order maybe, that's better than nothing. And sometimes, it's best to admit you're wrong and apologise if necessary, however difficult it might be. And it's god to be mindful that someone might not be in a good place at that moment, be prepared to back off if the signs aren't quite right or normal.
It's extremely cowardly to say truly hateful and hurtful things to someone online. Maybe those that do do it because it gives them some attention, any attention, that they don't otherwise get. It's a shame they can't generate positive attention though, and I think it's better not to hate such individuals, but hope that one day they can feel better about themselves an don't feel so compelled to be hateful and negative.

sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander 😉
I once cooked some ducks' livers in an orange and red wine sauce. It was a complete experiment, and cooduv easily gone horribly wrong, but actually turned out absolutely delicious. Probbly a complete fluke mind, and I can't for the life of me remember the recipe. 🙁
I like duck at Christmas. Much tastier than turkey, and more traditional in Britain anyway really well it's like a small goose, isn't it?
Leftover meat can be fried up then baked for a while, perfect crispy duck to have with pancakes and Hoisin sauce, the carcass makes a lovely soup stock, and the amount of fat produced means lots of delicious fry-ups too. 🙂
Love a duck.
scaredypants - Memberaww, has ssjeff gone
ssjeff - Member😉
Looks like he's still here.
What did he do?
What did he do?
go 1x10
go 1x10
What a ****.
Jeff not you BTW.
Elf, it was suggested earlier in the week that you were my dad, if that is the case, what was my mum doing in that London 48 years ago?
I have no idea, but it was at least 8 years before I was born.
Which makes things rather compulcated really. 😐
that SSjef needs sorting out, he keeps upsetting the stodgy gearie masses worse than that noodly forked attention monger that is SSstu. It must be something to do with singlespeedy types** being a bit needy and wanting all the attention*
* having gone back to gears I can now hate the SS masses with a passion much like an ex smoker hates those nicotine riddled Loosers that still smoke 😀
** could be worse they could be trailquesters as well
Tazzy, I can feel the hate oozing from you, in preparation for Swinley this weekend.....
oooh yeh you smoke don't you, and ride a single speed. I bet you are of a diminutive stature as well, now all you need to do is have some strong opinions about something and suddenly the hate will turn to love and I'll give you a big hug in a bromance stylee 😀

I love you too Tazzy.
You missed a nice little bimble round the other day when Keef came over.
(you do have a point about bikeramblers though)

When ever you're ready i'll play with you.
