mmmm, nice bit of kit, just arrived, looking forward to playing with it in the dark !

Traded up from a 1285 lumens Mark 4 to this one at 1600 lumens, and it's got some fancy battery lights on the back too.

Yes, I know I could have bought 10 chinese ones, but it is lovely ๐Ÿ™‚

Yep I got one, love the whole no battery wire thing. Works ideal with a more spot beamed headlamp, downsides are takes ages to charge (but thats a trade off against great run times) and I think personally the programmable modes thingy is a useless gimmick (for me) surely mode 1 with Hi Medium and Low (2 hrs, 6 hrs and 12hrs) is all people need

downthemiddle, yes, I combine with a Joystick on the lid. I've used Exposure for past 4 or 5 yrs and agree with the self contained no faff benefits. I tend to sell mine after 1 or 2 winters such that I can recoup a fair bit and buy the 'newer brighter' version, so looking forward to seeing how this compares to the Mk4. I've never bothered with the programming on the Joystick either - my night rides are usully a bit over 2 hrs, so I run on high and pop it on low when stopped/coasting.
