Buy the Exposure Quick Release Bracket with QR Clip (the link is to the standard version, there's another one for 35mm diameter handlebars).

Yep, either the bar mount meant fit their ‘bigger’ lights with the adapter or the stem mounted one.
Pricey imo but stops them rattling around.

I had exactly the same problem with a Sirius on the bar.  The 'bigger' (ie, joystick size and weight) lights are just too big for the silicone band approach.  I also got the metal bar mount and the hotshot adaptor.  It's a bit crap that the adaptor is plastic, but it seems to work well enough.

I just mount my lights upside down, hanging from the underside of the handlebars.

light manufacturers haven't 'clicked' (sorry), that a fairly hefty object is always going to swivel on a fairly narrow handlebar.

I use black electrical tape round the bar several times. Helps the clamp grip into it as well as avoiding sctraching bar

Tape here as well to run a diablo on my cc bars.

Couple of wraps of the good old gorilla tape and it's fairly solid.
