I looked at them for my commuter but a former club mate had them on trial and wrote this review when i chatted to him a while later he pretty much said don't bother. A colleague had them on a Brompton and they squared off so rapidly as to be replaced under warranty

Guy I ride with tried them and said they were awful; slow and very harsh - he took them back. He does normally use GP4000s though, I imagine they compare more favourably to your average 'urban' tyre than to a lightweight race clincher.

On the flip side I've a pair which I've ridden for many miles, on (and slightly off) road and love them. Yes, they aren't like a pneumatic tyre, and if you're not a heavyweight I would guess they feel quite hard (I'm around 100kg). But they have not squared off, or lost their shape, and I will get another pair once these ones eventually wear out.
I can't see a problem with them for a town bike. the knowledge of never having a puncture is fantastic. They are very specific about tyre width and rim width compatibility - and the rims need to have a decent 'hook' on them.
