Sorry Jon, I wouldn't really recommend any particular shop in Swansea for wheelbuilding.

Diy

Get a book on how to build a wheel, beg steel or borrow a wheel jig and have a go yourself.

Realy satisfying job when your first wheel is perfectly round and dished ok, that was 5 years ago and I have yet to need to retrue the wheels I built for my S/S

I've had a wheel built by the Exeter shop, not by Chas though ( and brain ache has robbed me of his name....).
It was Hope proII hub and a Mavic rim, nicely built, true..... Got my Hope Hoops from them on current build, he checked tension etc after a few trips out, making sure all was well. I'll go there again when I need to
