Getting all excited by the imminent arrival of some 29er nobby nics and 2.25 rocket rons from the lovely chaps at 29squadron in Belguim.
At last nice rubber for big wheels that doesn't weigh a bloomin ton and has more grip than the ralphs.
although knowing my rubber fetish, they'll probably be up for barter for cake and beer in a months time.
If any tyre geeks are interested I'll post a " ride review in pooey mud conditions" next week.
*runs off to get all my special white fluid ready*
Are you going to make a phat suit out of them?
Don't forget to give the dispenser a good shake before the white fluid comes out.
i was gonna ask about the new bontrager fr3 tyres..cos i like em to weight a ton and be big and grippy.
anyone used em.
apparently Ive got shake the dispenser vigourously? maybe I should wear goggles as I've heard that if it gets in your eyes it can hurt a bit.
I've also seen the swede leak it all back out of his rear end in a pub carpark last weekend. is this normal?
The Swede isn't normal no
fr 3 are ace on the front they stick like poo to blanket, but they are heavy duty
they start a bit narrow for a 2.35 but seem to stretch in over a week or so to true size
tazz, bit like moi.............heavy duty
I had one, gave to a mate who's bigger than me and he loves it to bits. run it with a 29-3 2.25 on the rear and it would be an ace combo
Taz got the beer and bubbly standing by .
I even have a recepticle for any White fluid overspill, hopefuuly this can be recylced (if stu and 'T' don't get there first)
KOS- I was waiting for the 2011 2.35 new nics, but got too excited. 2.25 rocket rons 530grams 640 for 2.25 nic snakeskins.it makes me moist with excitement
and 39Euros a tyre!
You got a link to them tazz?

mainly seem to do niner bikey bits but a good choice in rubber and even with courier is still cheaper than UK prices
the wtb kodiaks look fun as well
cheers tazz
15mm bolt through/maxle fox forks as well ๐
edit: bugger only in ****ty taper sizes ๐ฅ
How long does it take them to ship Tazzy? They seem to be the only chaps who have the Schwalbe Big Apple 2.35 in stock (still annoyingly more expensive than the 26" version though) so i might have to give them a try.
2-4 days Mr tall
I just started to order one but stopped when the postage lept from 6 euros to 15 euros! Guess my search will continue......
