Long shot but does anyone know of a hotel or b&b in Peebles area that has rooms available for 2 adults and a small dog over the EWS weekend ?

Try the [url]theatticpeebles.com[/url] nice and pet friendly, I believe they have a double room as well as the bunkhouse type bit.

I left mine pretty late and there wasn't much about (I was looking for a family room though so maybe a bit more restricted). Seemed like just the expensive stuff like Cardona and Traquair hotels a week or two back.
Saying that, I got a room in a b&b in Traquair that seems to have no web presence at all (recommendation from a place that was full), so there's no doubt places like this about - I can email you the number if you like.
