We'd like to organise a pump track challenge, and maybe a dual slalom race or time trail to raise some cash for local trails. Anyone got any suggestions as to good cheap sources of event insurance? I'm exploring the British Cycling route, but I remember seeing a thread a while ago about another provider of event organiser insurance. the thread title was something along the line of BC can kiss my @rse, but a search isn't bringing anything up.
Thanks for your help.

use google and type 'singletrackworld: search term' - it works a lot better as a site search

Thanks scott, have dropped them an email - do you know if they cover offroad events as the website seems to be based around sportives?

Yes its done on a per rider basis, Type of event is irrelevant as long as they approve you Risk assessment. I can send you mine if you want a look for reference.

I used BC for the North Pennines MTB Marathon.
Website is a bit clunky, but they're redesigning it. No problems with admin, and loads of support from various regional officers.

everywhere's different I suppose...

Leisuresure were pretty helpful when I was looking at running an Enduro event, although that was as an extension to an existing policy for paintball.
