Went for a ride after work last night, intending just an hour or so just ended up wandering around til near dark. Stopped for a pint and marveled at my frame (bike)then got back on it and went looking for more mischief on the trails. Lovely.
Anyone else?
Yup me too. Most evenings is a 5 mile ride home food (or not) and out for an evening ride with a cider or two. A couple of times I've been caught out without a front light so it's time to get the crisis light out of the sock drawer.
Mark you I go out most evenings 12 months of the year. Can't sleep otherwise.
Yup yup summer evening rides are lush apart from the midges! Last one got back just as it was starting to go dark about 9:30 pm, 30 miles down after intending on only doing about 10, beer stop a must 😆
Still end up cleaning shite off the bike and gear in the dark like winter though.
