Think I'm going to have a bash at this, anyone done it before? I've ridden a lot of those trails round there and 5000ft of climbing in 27 miles seems a hell of a lot!
Done it a few times and the 5000ft of climbing is about right,you will either be going up steeply or coming down steeply.
It's a bit but not that much climbing for the distance just take it at a decent pace and you will be fine.

Aye, I think I'll enter that! That pig of a road climb up from Edale to Mam Tor almost puts me off! Hate that climb!!!
That sounds awesome! We're working that weekend and I'm massively crap at pedaling uphill but other than that it sounds ace 😀
Done that Mam Tor climb on the Peak District Challenge a couple of years ago. Evil, and I find tarmac climbs worse because they're boring.
