It's old, weathered and not particularly quick as modern bikes go but on the plus side it's light, comfortable and was very cheap.
Whilst timewasting a few days ago I found the Youtube clip below which reminded me of just one of the reasons I really don't want to let it go.

I was using the complete Youtube 'embed' code.
If you put your foot flat to the floor in the midget it makes an awesome noise, then when you brake it just pours un-burnt fuel into the now superheated exhaust manifold 🙂
None of this sissy fuel injected, spark arrested, catalyticaly converted nonsense!
Another RR Merlin - flames out of the exhaust ports too, light and sound show.

If you type bergrennen into the tube there's loads of good stuff.
I still can't get over or even describe the noise a vulcan makes on takeoff, it's so loud it just obliterates everything.
