Can anyone tell me the difference between the Stealth and the Venturi eVent jackets?

What similar alternatives are recommended?

No, the Stealth is less waterproof and less breathable than the Venturi. It is lovely though.

Not had issues with my Stealth leaking so not sure how the Venturi would be more waterproof.
This time last year I had a DHB event jacket on back-order and bought a Stealth as was getting desperate (didn't get the Stealth originally as was worried about breathability). Turns out the Stealth was really good (fairly breathable and very waterproof) so when the DHB jacket finally arrived I sent it back as I couldn't see a situation I'd use it over the Stealth (if it were more packable I'd have probably kept it).
Personally I use the Stealth if I know it's going to rain (or it's bitterly cold) otherwise (if it's just a small chance of rain) I wear a more breathable windproof jacket and pack a basic waterproof (with limited breathability).

Softshell is also a lot warmer than a waterproof shell fabric like eVent. Fine in winter, not so good for Spring/Summer/Autumn rain.

I have stealth pants and they're completely waterproof. A bit warm for anything above 0deg though. The Stealth-lite fabric might be worth a try.
