To keep riding no matter what the weather is like, sometimes it can be better when your not sure where your bike will take you or if it will hold its line.

Not at all, I love the autumn / winter months.

Was out last night having a jog around the local woods, wind howling, bit of rain spraying down...love it!

Winter isn't until mid Novemeber. We have Autumn to enjoy - enough mud to make cornering and roots interesting again, but not enough to bog you down. And the bracken dies back revealing more singletrack. And the autumn colours!

In Summer, Autumn is the best time of the year. Then in Autumn, Winter is the best time of year. In Winter the idea of Spring seems ace. In Spring, Summer sounds like a good idea. Thinking like that always gives you something to look forward to.

I've been combatting the feeling by riding more than i have all summer!
Been out every night past 6 days and i've ridden to work everyday.

Autumn is indeed one of the most pleasant times to be out on a bike.
Cool enough that you don't overheat but not too cold that your old chap drops off with the cold.
