Does the company charge you the pre increase price up to the date of the price increase or just try and mug you off for the last estimated bill
they sent.
When you give them a reading how do they know what you used up to what date
I'm perplexed somehow they seem to think I used all 6 months worth of my electricity in the past two months as opposed to over the period from my last actual meter reading in April
They should be able to bill you to the reading you took on the price change date.
Aye that's what worries me from the date of the estimated bill to the new one the only way of getting their bill to produce the magic number is to take the new rates and multiply all is hunky dory then
Try and do it the old rate and the new and it seems British Gas are seriously out of pocket by a few hundred quid they don't seem that interested in doing it the other way. I'm wondering how to tackle this
