Old ones, died last night in spectacular fashion, one legged all the way home.
I'm killing all my bike bits atm.
Anyway, I need to rebuild them anyone done it? They predate the new 1,2,3 range so are pretty retro.
I realise there are much better options out there but I need these ones working again.
Parts might be an issue!!

These are the UK distributors
tbh, rebuild kit plus a set of cleats = might as well buy some of the newer ones.
Was hoping to rebuild and use Rock Bros cleats.
Poverty option!
Older ones use an igus bushing inboard I believe. Outer bearing and nyloc nut will be available elsewhere.
From this very forum, http://pedaldamnit.blogspot.com/2008/04/crank-brothers-eggbeater-servicing-ii.html
Where do I get theses bearings!
Also, ime, once the bushings and bearings break down so much the pedal comes off the castings and axles are knackered too.
there's a few results in the States for older rebuild kits, didn;t see any uk ones.
£35 for new ones;

(not used them but they've been about for a while).
I had a similar issue a several months back, bearings had finally give up a some original Candy SS pedals.
No rebuild kits to be found other than in the states with ridiculous shipping charges.
Whilst looking for rebuild kits on CRC noticed that some for Spank Spoon pedals looked very similar, did a bit of research and turns out that the bearing, bushing and nyloc nut were the same dimensions as the Candy ones so took a punt on them.
Pedals good as new again, that said the spindles for Candys and eggbeaters are different so might not work for you but it is worth looking at rebuild kits for other pedals if your stuck.
Getting the bearings and a nyloc nut is fairly easy its the right size igus bearing that is trickier.
