This years standard answer - 'would love to, can't!'

Possible last chance before it turns mushy again... Got around on Sunday, even drier than before.

Tonights brief foray *waves to rob* has sealed the death knell for the singlespeed, so I'm out till I wrangle a new MTB (with gears) ๐Ÿ™

Not that I was making many of these rides anyway, must try harder!

I'll be at Cargo @ 6.30. Think my cousin will be out tonight too.

Hopefully my legs will loosen off by then!

I'll be home too late to make it back out in time, but I'm planning a solo spin up to the Pentlands later on, so might bump into you all. Enjoy.

Think the only way I'm going to get better at pedalling up hills is by pedalling up more hills, so I'll be at Bonaly for seven. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just the five of us this week, or six if I count both of me ๐Ÿ™‚
[img] [/img]
Some great bits of goat track that I've never ridden before and are presumably lethal when wet. Cheers for choosing the route TJ.
Pic was taken by the only properly wet bit we found ๐Ÿ™‚

Kept an eye out on my own 3hr jaunt, but clearly missed you all. I passed a gaggle of what were presumably the Hervelo ladies on the Water of Leith on my way home, but couldn't see the rest of you. Stunning riding out there this evening - glad I got another ride in before the forecast rain. Black Hill and Nail Trail were as dry as you will ever see them.

We decided to head straight to Threipmuir as we wanted to catch the swimming first.

Sorry - didn't text. Phone was off.

Claire (S.O.) is just up around Torduff walking the wean, 7 fire tenders parked further down at the parking strip... Public access stopped at the reservoir gate. Sounds like the rain will be just too late - Fire Service tweet

Hopefully, nothing too damaging ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

Oh no, gotta feel sorry for the nesting birdies. I helped put out a fire at Bonaly reservoir last year and it was pretty scary how quickly it spreads and how hot it is. Kids who presumably lit it were in the trees near the scout camp with tennis rackets firing stones. Ranger said they have several call outs a week during the summer hols from kids setting the place on fire, eejits.
