Great thread and really sums it up for me. I have today sold my last regular MTB so for me all proper off road stuff will now be on my Spesh Levo SL, till it breaks...and I can then use my Vagabond if I have to while the Spesh is being repaired !
Looking forward to getting back to coaching the kids club once lockdown is lifted - at least I’ll be able to keep up with them now 😀
We were out in the Peak at 6.00am this morning. The bikes allowed us to do in 3 hours what would have normally be a full days ride. Back at the van for 9.00am just as the car parks were getting full. Saw three groups of riders out. All having a blast
The trails were running great after a bit of rain. Looked like it was going to get busy with the amount of cars loaded with bikes that were arriving.
@thrustyjust quite possibly, I definitely remember at least one time we drove out that way rather than riding from Newbury.
Getting back on topic - they're all bikes and if they get more people out riding and allow different abilities to ride together then that's a great thing.
Oh, and cake is good.
... waiting until I'm 60! That's 11 months and a day 🙂

I'll be waiting til I'm 60, then they might not be so eye wateringly expensive for anything half decent!
