I realised that my ebike (Whyte) had room inside the frame for a hack swat style storage. I'm sure this could apply to other ebikes!

I've placed a spare tube, C02 head and tyre lever inside the downtube ahead of the battery by the headtube, I've attached it to a shoelace to pull it out easily. Then just inside the downtube cover there was space for two C02 canisters. Now all I have is a small T25 key taped to a brake hose so I can pull it all apart trailside. Boom, hack swat storage!

Nice idea but do these batteries need cooling and are you preventing that with this hack?

Won't stuffing all that extra stuff in there make your frame feel really heavy? 😉

I've got a 625 battery, and a 504 battery which is shorter and uses a 3d printed spacer to fill the gap.

It has a void in it though so is the ideal place for approximately 5 custard creams or a bag of smuggled class A narcotics.

Used to do this on my gen 1 Levo and gen 1 Kenevo as both had plenty of space between the head tube and the battery

Unfortunately its not possible on my gen 2 Levo as the battery slides in the down tube from the motor area so now running a Swat bandit on the back of the saddle

Got a Giant e-Reign, not much room in there when the battery goes in, especially the way the battery goes in, i've just invested in a granite steerer tool, small saddle bag and a fanny pack as they say in the US, works well, due to phone and keys i tend to live with the bumbag, just saves hassle of sticking it somewhere it might drop off the bike!
