*or is it a copy? That makes perfect sense ๐

Kit car??
I'm not looking for rational explanations here!
This is a thread for Marin-haterz and impotent internet flamers!
think it's a copy - the door handles look like they come from a Morris Marina.
Why whats wrong with a Dino?

It's fake.
Hmmm, does look like a kit car?
Wonder what its based on?
Nothing HH - I was making a joke on Marins being commonly preceived as ugly and Dino's cool.
But the replica status (I thought the front overhang was short) confirms the owner has no taste!*
*I have just bought a Marin and of course cannot comment!
That's no more a Dino than I'm a ballerina*...
*Although truth be told I could certainly 'bust a move', back in the day...
EDIT: In fact, I reckon it might be based on a beetle chassis...
Most kit cars are, are they not?
Plenty of other donor cars used nowadays Al;
Fiesta
Cortina
Escort
Nova
Fiat 131
Sierra
BMW E30
2CV
MX-5
The list goes on and on...
Ah fair enough, remembe my bro being interested in the 70s, they seemed to be all Beetle based then, he went on to get a Capri...and now works as McLaren!
