Hi all, went to Llandegla today for the better half to give mountain biking a go. She had a great time on a rental Spesh Levo SL, and would love to have a few more goes before committing to buying a bike and riding locally in the Peaks. She did great on the green and blue trails, and her confidence was massively up at the end of the day!
Does anyone know of any other trail centres that rent e-bikes? Just for a bit of variation with different trails and a different bike instead of heading back to Llandegla again.

The benefit of an eeb at Thetford must be negligible though, it has to be the flattest MTB trail in the world?

Being totally flat is makes it utterly knackering on a real bike as there is no respite from the endless pedaling. You also don't have gravity to assist you in making the limited features interesting, so it's endless pedaling, followed by the occasional "I think I can see a lump ahead that I might be able to get airborne off if I can somehow mange to pedal even faster, but I'm already breathing out of my arse". I think an ebike would be a godsend.

You know what, I was on a lightweight XC bike last time I rode there - but I imagine it could feel more of a slog on a heavier modern trail bike (even with 29n wheels).

I have a 29er hardcore hardtail, currently with XC tyres on.
And a 650b full suspension, currently wearing supergravity soft compounds.
Last night I rode there on the full squish, today I'll be riding through it taking in a few of the trails on the XC.
Full suspension is way more fun despite being theoretically much slower rolling, it allows you to carry so much more speed and enjoy the features.
You know what, I was on a lightweight XC bike last time I rode there - but I imagine it could feel more of a slog on a heavier modern trail bike (even with 29n wheels).
Last time I was there the person who looked to be having the most fun was a knobber on a Sur-Ron.
