Is there a bug in the form then? Surprising that 2 of us have entered females accidentally. Luckily we both actually are singlespeeding it, so that bits fine.

User error for me. I just didn't notice you had to select gender and class and female single speeder was the default.

Feels quite weird not being in the melee this year but, having done it the last 3 years, I'm taking a break. At least that'll guarantee good weather etc for everyone else ๐Ÿ˜‰

First time for me. So... it's good then? I've done the Rough Ride and the Builth MTB Marathon. How does it compare to those?

No place for me this year ๐Ÿ™ stupidly booked cars mot for 10am and didn't get back in time - and the bloody car failed!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Good luck to all the lucky 750 of you. I had a blast on it last year hope you do too.

I haven't done the Rough Ride or the Builth marathon so i can't compare.
But it's a really chilled event in a beautiful location.
The way the locals get involved is quite amazing too.

The missus and me are in too 725 and 726 cant wait. Ive ridden the rough ride at least 7 times and builth a similar number but the Dyfi beats them all for atmosphere and fun!

probably better than Builth in terms of technical course. and a million times better than Rough Ride..I'd rather stick pins my eyes than do the rough ride ๐Ÿ™‚

having said that, I've also entered the RR

The Dyfi is probably the most challenging technically, certainly more so than the Rough Ride which is actually a pretty easy ride across some rolling hills.

I did the Builth 100k a few years ago and though not as technically demanding as the Dyfi, because of the distance, harder.
