Hi Guys,
I have had my DX light just over a year & unforts the charger has bitten the dust. The light stays green when i plug into the battery even the battery is totally dead. I wiggle the connector & it goes red for 5 mins and then green again. Light seems to work fine as it does light up even after only 5 mins.
I have ordered a new DX light as at £50 it is good to have a spare & also couldn't find on Deal extreme anywhere that you could just order the spare charger online. But was wondering if there were any UK charger that would work?
Cheers

Sounds like you have a broken connection somewhere. Examine the connectors on your battery and charger, see if the cable is damaged/wires exposed.

Why not call their UK service centre for advice and spares?

Why not just buy 6, accept a degree of attrition, and still have some change left over from what you would have spent on a UK ASSEMBLED light, remember all but the cassing is probably made abroad, and the case is probably made on a big CNC machine that was bought from abroad, and probably doesn't take a huge ammount of opperator input.

Smudge on here sells chargers, think its mtbbatteries.co.uk, the charger i got from DX works if you use a UK plug, best off getting it from smudge though.

It's a novel idea but why not just cut the end off the lead that you have and fire a plug on it.
