OK, so I bought one of these XML-T6 "1050LM" 3-Mode White LED Bicycle Bike Light (4 x 18650) and it seems pretty acceptable for c.£20 for what I want it for.
Question is: how long does one charge the batteries for?? The instructions don't say and my experience of DX "live chat" is less than positive so thought I'd try here. Charge until the batteries get warm/explode??
FWIW it says 4x18650 4400mAh re:batteries, charger says Output 8.4V 1000mA.
Any ideas? Bzzzzzt.
Usually your charger will have a red led on when charging and it turn green once completed. Anything from 4-8 hrs (i'd expect the later) dependent on the batterys capacity & charger output.
*Scuttles off to check charger*
There IS a tiny little lamp on there actually - not having got the adapter for the chinese pin plug yet I hadn't spotted that. I am clearly a dimwit, thanks.
Nothing to see here!!
I would say 5-6 hours from dead.
