Reet. Just installed, my first, chainset and BB HT2 (SLX). everything went in straight with a bit of a push. Applied a bit o' grease on the splines of the axle before pushing through. Thing is it spins as if it has a little bit of resistance on it, with and without the L/H arm fitted. Is this just how new chainsets/BBs are and just work loose over usage or have i done something wrong? There is no movement on the crank or noises.

Cheers.

yes, the power from your legs wont notice the slight drag when riding.

they settle in and spin a bit easier after a few rides. As long as you didn't overtighten the little plastic preloader thingy you'll be reet
