2008 dual air revelations.
Out on my local ride tonight and quickly realised that I've only got half travel (exactly 65mm) and the lockout was not working no matter how hard the floodgate was set.
I have been playing with air pressures in the top and bottom to check small bump sensitivity/big hit ability. So don't know if its caused something to go wrong.
Anyone know what I can do about this myself?
Got the appropriate fork oils and tools but don't know where to start.
Sounds like usual thing where the damper oil leaks into the lowers because of a worn/faulty o-ring.
Search on here, theres a post or two a week about it.
Let all the air out and compress the fork...how much travel do you get? Does it bottom out with a clunk?
As retro83 said, its most likely oil escaping into the lowers. Happened on my 2 month old set of Pikes...back they went under warranty.
Common problem with Rockshox air forks, heard about it happening to REBAs alot. Service, replace seals (you need the motion control damper seal kit which is currently on back order according to my LBS), refill and off you go.

hmmm righty ho.
Wondering if there is any point getting them serviced properly at TFTuned and getting them pushed at the same time...
bloody rockshox
currently waiting for my totems to be returned after oil spewed out of the mission control on the first day of riding them!
