Any real-world users?
Trying to decide what to do for a 2nd set of wheels and found some FX1950's at a very appealing price..
I know there'll be issues with replacement spokes etc but I'm happy to buy some spares, just in case (though I've never broken a spoke yet)

I'd avoid them. The OH has them, while they have been fine in terms of general performance, she broke a spoke and it's looking like getting on for the best part of a hundred quid to replace it- having to buy a set of spokes rather than individual is the killer.
I don't know what price you're getting them for but unless it's pretty special I'd go for something like wtb or stans on a dt 350 hub.
