Is it a bog at the moment ? Worth a drive from glasgow

Hope you like riding slippy roots! Good in the dry, lethal in the wet. They're mainly on the black section. The whole course is quite short though so missing the black out would make it far too short, imho.

Naaaaah, Drum is mint in the wet. Go for it, unless there's a ton of snow, it's a great place to ride.

Yes, yes, yes.... was there last week and it's mint... All the roots are covered in leaves, so watch out!!

Peebles Cycling had a family ride there at the weekend. Looked like a light dusting of snow.

There's never a bad time to ride at Drumlanrig. Like NW says best in the pouring rain.

Got a day off and have not been to drum for a while and have an itch . I like it in the wet but it has been extra wet recently ! Other options running through my head are carron valley or WHW out to the beech tree for coffee and cake then back to mugdock which to be honest is more about the coffee and cake than the riding

Moonsaballoon - hope you headed south, it's a fantastic winters day down here. Drum will be superb
