Aye, well it's pissed it down more or less continuously in the Pennines since Thu; and I have no waterproofs on account of tearing them on a rock on Monday somewhere at the back of Halifax (lost forward motion going up hill & spudfall resulted) :-/ Bah.

Down in Dorset it has been great. Coming back from a ride and only having to blow off the dust is great

Rocketdog - was that you I saw on the singular swift around the leamington 4x track yesterday? I was the guy puffing going up and down that hill, by the entrance of the track at the time.

It's done nothing but hammer it down all night and all day here in N London.
High winds too.
Miserable weekend as I'm in doors with a stinking cold.
Woe is me!

What a strange looking soil you have. No proper rain here for at least a month trails are fantastic even some parts that rarely dry are dust.

NE is great. Local trails are dry without being hard; makes for excellent riding.

So that would be... the last two days of the month then?

Yep. But it's been proper rain. Not that fine rain that soaks you through.
