Whats your dream bike, if you had an infinite amount to spend on it?
I've already got my dream bike, a carbon Blur LT. But to really top it off I'd like to replace the Fox air shock with a CDDB and the Revs with some Fox 36s (the latter I'm working on).
Already got mine too. Yeti ASR-carbon.
Would like a lighter HT though, maybe a Simplon. And a proper DH bike, Yeti 303. Unfortunately following the purchase of the first yeti I now have no money with which to buy these things...
I'd love a Roberts Dogsbolx in a metallic olive green with rigid steel forks, M900 XTR, 231cd rims and blackwall Smoke Lite Comps ๐
Whyte 19 Ti. Out of the box, I would change tyres, grips and saddle and add some pedals. Then I'd ride it straight out. The best hardtail I have ever ridden, bar none.
Ghost Lector and Ghost Hector with XX and Gripshift, Hope Race, Stans Podium MMX, KCNC finishing kit, with Fizik Aliantes and ESI Chunkys, with a selection of Schwalbe tyres.
And then the same on a Kinesis Decade Virsa for training on!
Ive got one of them - ibis mojo sl running fox 32 or 36 depending on my mood ๐
next one (which i dont have!) would be a titus fireline exogrid with custom geometry so that it matched my cotic soul but was mutch flashier!
my cannondale six is all the road bike i need for now but a cervelo r3 sl in all white would be my dream darkside ๐
Oh, actually I would really like a custom Ti hardtail from Strong Frames.
My dream frame is coming from the US, should be here in a couple of weeks. Intense Tracer VP. Just haven't got a load of new parts to show it though.
So that's what I would like. New forks, wheels, cranks etc for my dream bike.
An Ibis Tranny...eTT for my size is a bit short, its only warranted up to 120mm forks and other little niggles but despite all that, I don't care, I want one.
New soda for me, or an Indy Fab with SID and SRAM XX or the Yeti AS-R with integrated seatpost
I think custom ti would be my choice, but I'd keep changing my mind about size and geometry and end up with a dozen of them.
Mine but possibly with a ti frame. For now the frame is spot on - just the perfect balance of lightweight and strength for me.
Loving the Curtis, nearly brought one a while back, but lack of funds stopped me! Maybe time to start saving?
While I realise it's not the most sophisticated machine anymore I still desperately want a San Andreas in silver with old school Bomber Z1s and a modern shock.
Something like a Ti Titus full susser with xtr or xo.
Road bike, my Lynskey but with better wheels and super record instead of chorus.
A Pinarello Prince with Di2 and Lightweights for me I reckon.
On the MTB I'd stick with the Fuel, but get some Innolite XCC250 rims built onto some light hubs for a c1000g wheelset, and some SID World Cups. Also get a Mojo SL and build up super pimp.
indy fab 29er ss ti, much like Dr Jons...
