I can't decide between 24,36 or 22,32 ? 😐
22,36 ? 😉
22/32 works fine for me but I tend not to go so fast on the downs as I like to conserve my energy 😛
22 36 here. Good combo.
You'll be glad of the 36 on bigger, longer, more open and flowing rides where you'd normally end up in your 44T big ring from time to time. With a 36T you effectively only lose the top 2 gears from a full triple ring setup, with a 32T ring you lose another gear too.
24/36 setup on one of my bikes, with an 11-32T cassette, can't say I've ever found that I wanted a 22T ring instead, even going up the steep climbs at Afan and Cwm Carn.
24/36 Here, works well for me.
Still keeps your top end speed and can't say I have noticed a "loss" of the lower gear
OK cheers, so are the bash guards identical either way?
If they are identical then I guess it would make sense ordering a 24,36 now and then changing the smaller ring later on down the line if I really miss the easiest gears?
24/36 For me too
Never left wanting
22/36 is the standard answer. I ran with 22/32 for a while and I did miss the highest gears a little, 22/36 gives a really nice range of ratios.
24/34 on one bike 22/34 on 2 others works for me
