A friend of mine was telling me about his cousin who rode the TdF route last year. This friend has been known to exaggerate so I took what he was saying with a pinch of salt and never really looked into it.
Then I noticed the Tour de Francis thread and thought it might be the same guy. Turns out it wasn't and Francis's feat seems a bit unimpressive by comparison.
I'm just surprised that I hadn't heard this story before. Is it just not as mind blowing as it seems to me or does Donal need a new publicist?
