Looking for some recommendations for places to stay in Barmouth or Dolgellau. We're heading back to CyB in April and want to stay in either of these towns, so we can take full advantage of the Sandancer once more.

very pleasent indeed. bikes and cleanups go in the old stables, and the house is a big ol' mansion. they have insanely deep victorian baths.

also they get special sausages from the local butcher, which are amazing.

Posted a link to this place yesterday when someone asked about campsites. They also do lovely B&B rooms. 5 mins from Dolgellau, overlooking Barmouth bay. Stunning location and they are really nice folk who have done great stuff in the short time they've been there.

If you want cheap you could try Kings YHA. Again about 5 minutes from Dolgellau.

THIS place is good. Havent used the B&B but stayed on the adjacent campsite a few times. They did us a nice cooked breakfast one morning when we couldnt be bothered to cook.
Has secure bike storage & bike-wash. Is situated behind the Little Chef as you head down the hill towards Dolgellau.
