Hi guys,
since we got our little dog we don't bike and do miss it! i know this might be a daft idea but is there a decent trailer out there? I know innerwolf do one they are a dog gear specialist, so has anyone got/use one any help/advice much appreciated we know we won't be able to go on rough tracks, and before you say get the dog to run he is a miniature dachsund so not really relavant ๐
many thanks

hehehe he is a proper dog ๐ hey nick that is such a bad box to put him in!!!! He is a cool dude the inner wolf trailer looks great I was just hoping that someone might have used one ๐
petrie thanks but it's Canada USA only ๐
plenty places selling croozer stuff in the UK (ive got a croozer kid2) so if you like it i wouldnt expect getting one would be a problem.
petrie, ahhh ok thanks do you take a dog out in it? If not will it be ok for one, is it good quality etc
Saw someone using a kiddie bike trailer to take there dog on a bike tour this week, thought it was a fairly special interest thing to do. Seems not.
What about modifying a bob trailer or similar? Then you could off road on moderate tracks?
how about carrying it in a sling?
I just bought a normal kiddie trailer, took out the seats and fitted a bit of ply to the base for support and threw a dog bed in...use a car harness to the top bar to stop the dogs jumping out...works fine.
No, just use mine for the kids (I've got a proper dog so I doubt he'd fit ๐ )
Just fit some mini roller skates or boots to your dogs paws. Not only would your dog look awesome but the weight saving over the trailer solution would be a real bonus.
Why cant your dog run with you? I take my dogs out and these include a papillion, a chihuahua/pom cross and a mastiff collie cross. Just modify your speed to the dog, single speed is good for this. Start on short local rides and build up. Someone did a good thread about this somewhere on here.
I don't see the point..what does the dog get out of being dragged round behind a bike? just leave him at home and take him for a proper walk before and after the ride!
