[Closed] Does anyone make a bike with this spec? (commuter/tourer)

The spec is:

Steel frame
Hub gear
Drop bars
Rack mounts
Mudguard mounts

Although I suppose the frame material is not critical. The last time I bought a bike was 2009 - prices seem to have increased significantly since then. Thanks all for your help!

Hub gear probable means Alfine and Versa shifters. You'd be best building something around a frame of your choice.

My Genesis Day01 Alfine 11 ticks all those boxes.

Whether I'd recommend it or not...

I couldn't buy one of those Shands bikes until I can afford 2, one to ride and one to hang on the wall.

For gawd's sake.....will folk please stop posting pics of the following frame building companies, Shand cycles, Engin and Eriksen, everytime i see one or the other i look around my room and house and start to add up what i could get for "that" or "that" on ebay and attempt to figure out how i could raise the balance by working even more hours than i already do.

Just stop it now.....it's not fair!.

Fine thanks. Sold 137 bikes off the back of this post alone. Couple more threads about this sort of stuff and I reckon I'll be able to retire with a couple of million in the bank.

Kazafaza: lovely bike there. Please can you elaborate on how you sorted the hub gear? Does it not need some kind of braze-on somewhere along the chainstay?

(whispers) on-one pompetamine. although you'd need p clips for the rack and (even quieter) you'll have to wait until they decide to make some more of them...

my mistake. btw sc-xc, do you any recommendations for rear mudguard arrangements to accommodate track ends?

I mean to make roadside repairs easier...
