[Closed] dilemma - wheel / fork / brake mount

it goes like this.........

I've got an old rigid '93 Cinder Cone with project 2 fork and v brakes, with drops

I'm thinking of setting it up as a 29'er commuter cross thingy

a 700c wheel will go in, but the brakes won't work without some sort of adapter

so - thinks I - change fork and go to discs

current axle to crown is 385mm

question is - is there a rigid disc mount fork around with similar a to c? I think most are 440mm, which would be far to long reckon

I have seen 700c project 2 forks with v brake mounts with a to c of 410mm - but no disc mount
