Seen 2 jackets that I can't choose between.
One is 2 layer and the other 3 layer gortex (the 2 layer is more expensive).
Anyone have experience of both and can help me with the differences or shall I just plump for the cheapest?

The 2 layer will [i]generally[/i] be lighter, more breathable, but less hardwearing.
mmmm, as only for walking dogs etc prob don't need to worry about hardwearing so perhaps will buy 2 layer.
Then again won't be exercising with it so don't need to worry too much about breathability.............
For doq walking, go with the cheaper one, if not your dog, someone else's dog will jump up and get it muddy or torn. I never wear good stuff for dog walking for this very reason.
