I took out a few Surf shark VPN trial and found I could get uci YouTube connected via Phillipines. I was also out helping at the local Fete until 330, so thought I'd get home and cast the last few runs to the telly.Â
Got home, cast to telly, was really tired and all I could do not to fall asleep.Â
In between my eyes closing I did think "why aren't they wearing national "uniform" - must be more commercialisation. Anyway...
It went on, some names I didn't recognise, lots of youngsters. Eventual Max Alran in his Commencal kit won, but to very little fanfare. Where was Goldstone? And other big names?Â
Then noticed the banners saying "Val di Sol (good) Junior World Cup (bad) 2024 (still bad).Â
Turns out casting a VPN'd YouTube connection doesn't work.
Flipped back to watching on my phone just in time for Goldstone's run.Â

Firefox has a free built in VPN now. Set it to Japan and watch YouTube on the UCI channel. No more messing around with dodgy streaming websites. The only downside for me is that I prefer watching it on the big telly.
