Possibly, but I'm no expert so may be way off.

On a side note: I don't really understand why Mick Hannah is considered such a legend: One WC win in the last 10 years isn' really stuff legends are made of. Don't get me wrong, he's an excellent rider, but is he really up there with the greats?

Thats mental news about Bryceland?! There must be more to that story.

Bryceland to quit racing over its CO2 footprint. Fair enough. Hopefully he will keep putting out web edits. He is a hell of a rider.

What makes people think it's a 'crock' ?

The fact that it looks like his head hasn't been in it for ages, and his CO2 footprint hasn't been a problem for the last 10* years of doing world cups.

*however long he's been doing it

People change though. Maybe it's been bothering him but it has paid the bills. Now he has a bit saved he can live a different sort of lifestyle.

Love you tin hat 'conspiracy' guys.

Quitting because of carbon footprint? Poor.

Whilst the sentiment is admirable, I do agree it's probably not the whole story. I wonder if the injuries have had a profound effect on his outlook.

Perhaps his head hadn't been in it becausehes come to realise it's not environmentally sound?

People are allowed to change the beliefs you know?

It may well be legit. Or at least part of the reason. This is the guy who knocked back energy drink sponsorship because he didn't think it was a good message for the kids.

More truth in the "perhaps he could ride a bike made of grass" and "then he'd end up smoking it"

Hart's run was fully awesome there!

This is the guy who knocked back energy drink sponsorship because he didn't think it was a good message for the kids.

Before or after he was sponsored by Monster 😉
