So swampthing is not enough,
1. Muddy Mary
2. Intense spike
3. Wet scream
What you guys think??
Dirty Dans. The Muddy Mary despite its name isnt really a specific mud tyre.
What he said. Muddy Marry is amazing for soft conditions and general stuff, Dirty Dan is more hardcore spikey and decent in drier conditions too if you're not so bothered about rolling resistance.
Cut down Wetscream. The centre knobs are a bit big & squirm when you hit roots/rocks.
The SwampThing is listed as a DH tyre on the Maxxis site but I use one for normal trail riding when the ground starts to get slippy.
conti rain king? £40
whatever Danny Hart used at 'that' world cup race.
Intense Intruders are pretty good, use them on my DH bike when its a bit grim for High Rollers. Saying that i have just picked up some muddy marys to try this winter.

'special' Dirty Dans, I heard.
I find swamp things awesome, whats the probloem you have with them?
Swapthings were great till we got real mud. Some sections bout 10cm deep and they just wash out. So on the look for something with a taller spike as such.
Might have a look then at the dans instead.
Cheers guys
FFS! screams are the only proper mud tyre in the list.
not many very DH tracks are just proper mud all the way down tho.
