Hi
I am looking at getting a Devinci Dixon and was wondering to go for medium or large, I am 5'10" with 30" inseam. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this bike and if you do what would you suggest.
Many thanks in advance
Craig
Hi,
I'm 6'2" with 34" ish inside leg and ride a large. I'd say the standover/seat tube on the large would be too big for you. Having said that they are not the longest (TT) bikes.
The bike is amazing BTW
Hi. I'm 5 11 and have a medium. Fits perfectly with short stem. Glad I didn't go large. Amazing bike.
Not the ideal fit as they're quite square. You ideally probably want a large for reach and a medium seat tube. I would try both with a few different stems. Killer bike though.
6ft with a large Hectik. I'd say try a medium too.
Cheers lads for the prompt reply. How is the bike on fast and flowy trails as well as the more techy, steep stuff?
I am wanting something that will do the aggressive side of trail riding; trail centres and natural stuff like the lakes and Peak District.
I've been looking at Devinci Dixon, Santa Cruz Heckler and Transition Bandit
Cheers
Craig
I'm just over 6'2" and mine is a Large with a 50mm stem. Its a great bike for the kind of riding you're describing, with the right fork it will build into a very stiff light frameset that will take a lot of abuse and still pedal well.
