Want something with sporty angles; not a roubaix or something like that.

Has anyone seen a deal or a steal? 56cm before you ask.

If you're prepared to "settle" for SRAM, you're pretty much getting everything that's hanging off the frameset for nothing with this.

No idea what there like, but rubble have some cheap carbon bikes..although they get good reviews on bike radar.
They do the bike builder option so you can spec out the bike how you like..

PX Pro Carbon with an Ultegra build for £1k? Not the finest frame mind you.

To be honest, how that Cannondale was ever 5000 quid is really quite worrying. Horrible groupset on it, horrible wheelset, alloy seatpost etc.

Yuk!

How do you feel about white bikes?

A Giant M/L is probably equivalent to a 56cm innit?

Some reasonable bikes at Partridge Cycles - collection only from Exeter

http://www.partridgecycles.co.uk/p/sale-bikes

Depending on your height, for a TCR and Propel I'd take a Medium for a 56 (ETT is 55.5 and make the extra 0.5 cm up with a longer stem), not a M/L.

None HI - MOD Super Six 'Dales , just the EVO models, were £1200 ish with Ultegra. There were some on Ebay for even less. New, boxed etc.

Sounds like a Ribble might be more your thing...

Westbrook Cycles have the Supersix Ultegra for 1300 down from 2000 (plus you'll get about 50 quid cashback). Terrific bike (no I don't own one but rented one for a week in lanzarote), only needs some nicer wheels to be a weapon.
