Hi, as per the title, does anyone have any experience with the van Rysel RCR-R PRO bib shorts?
cheers
Generally my experience of Decathlon own brand kit is that at the top of the range stuff is both excellent quality and significantly cheaper than the 'branded' competition. But those are £150 so they're in Rapha (etc) territory anyway. They'd need to be pretty special. Theres some interesting stuff in the rest of the range - the £90 RCR5 has an elastic interface pad. The mtb undershort bibs have a pad that looks ok from the picture and they're less than £50 (down to 25 right now).
I've said this on other posts though - I rarely find out if a cycling short is truly comfortable (for *me*) until I've ridden it for some hours at which point theres no returning it if it's not.
I've got the endurance road ones for £40 and they're bob on, they size up a little small though, i was between sizes and glad i went up instead of down.
They're good enough that I'm not sure i'd be interested in spending more on fancier ones
I've got the tier down and like them a lot. I've also got some very nice AliExpress jobs that are also very nice and substantially cheaper...

they've got some very cheap stuff and a massive jump to the top end. I'm going to make an effort to go to a big store and have a look at them for sure.

Same here, I've got a pair as has natrix junior.
an elastic interface pad
Wots one of them then?
Theres a few companies that specialise in making pads for cycling shorts. One of the 'name brands' used to be more of an assurance of quality. I suspect that in the last few decades while those brands can still charge a premium, there are probably loads of cheaper high quality pads coming out of china
