Just got my DealExtreme P7 light in the mail today. Looks pretty tidy for the low price!

No instructions were included though. Anyone know the correct charge time on this unit?
The charger has an LED on it that is red when connected to the battery, but goes green when you disconnect the battery from it. Does the red LED mean it's fully charged? And is this light 'protected' from overcharge?
Help!
put it in; red = charging, leave till turns green = charged
Cheers. Can the battery be damaged by leaving it connected on charge one it's green?
Epic, can you post up some beam shots when you've done charging?
Thanks 🙂
Will do my best tonight after dark (if it get's that dark before my bedtime 🙄 )
Someone posted a link to beamshots and comparisons on here a few days ago, look through the past few days posts and you should find it, I was looking last night. I thini I seached the forum on DX, or light, or something similar.
I failed to link also host site issue?
Thanks Epic!
From the looks of your photo that new P7 bike specific light looks pretty handy, with both range and peripheral illumination. How did you find it on your first ride? Did the green switch get annoying, or was it ok?
OS
And yes, DX isnt working for me currently as well

one of those is still on my shopping list 🙂
I meant I cant see the pice possibly a work restriction then not a Deal extreme issue sorry for the confusion will check beam shots at home then
Will test ride in full later tonight, but it's looking damn good from last nights 5 min plod round our paddock!
Oh, and green button doesn't distract at all.
Had an hour using the DX light late last night. Quite frankly it's awesome compared to my L&M Stella 200.
I'm not convinced how well sealed it all is, taking the price in to consideration, so I'm going to have it all apart tonight to make it more UK weather proof.
For £50 it only needs to last a year I'll get my moneys worth!
