Has anyone ridden in Davos, specifically the Jakobshorn Treble route? I'm heading there in 2 weeks which will be 7 weeks after a minor collar bone break. Debating whether it might be easier on my body on my DH bike but looking for advice as to whether the ride is doable on a DH bike rather than 160mm trail. I'll be taking both on the trip either way.
Cheers
Matt

I rode the Jakobshorn Trilogie last year and it's great. I was was on 150/140 trail bike which was about right as none of the three routes need a DH bike. I did it on the order Dischma, Sertig then the flow trail down the middle. One of my favourite days of riding in Davos. Let me know if you need any gpx files for other rides in and around town.

I'd go with something you can pedal. Lots of lift assisted riding, but you'll still be pedaling up to get to some of the trails.

It's not like a French bike park. More natural. One of my mates says it's his favourite destination and not overly pricey. 65€/night with breakfast, a lunch pack and lift pass included.

Oh, and the co-op in town is the best value place to eat. Not pricey and great views.

Closes relatively late, too.

Just session the alps epic trail over and over and over again. It's absolutely stunning 😀

I took my Capra for Enduro2 and it was pretty much bob on, some of the transitions were brutal hike a bike things. Epic downhills though

There's only a couple of trails that are best suited to a full on DH bike there, you'll be best on an enduro bike. The trails are fun but do have pedalling and climbs in them.
