Just wondering if anyone off here was riding around the Tower last night?
We past a big group heading towards Donkey Brew near to Sunnyhurst Reservoir, just curious who was riding on our stomping ground whilst we where playing away over at Healy Nab ๐Ÿ˜€

Was that you coming down the A666 past the Chinese restaurant about 9ish, Mark? About 6 mountain bikers whizzed past when I was running back from the last lamp post.

It's still there. Not been blown away due to the weight of all the soggy peat!

Healy Nab was surprisingly un-boggy last week. Blackstone edge for us tomorrow night as things might be a bit firmer than on't moors

I was around Entwistle which was super foggy & wet, but great on the cx bike

I live in Chapeltown - anyone off here who night ride regularly? I see a few bunches of blokes a couple of times a week ride past my house

Darwen Moors = Hard Ground Great/Off Piste Extremely Boggy

Hi Simon, no we stayed over Brinscal way was very foggy could only see a couple of metres in front. Had a New lad out with us who took a nasty tumble going down the Tarmac road from Great Hill Path nasty gash to elbow and grazing down leg, i think his pride was hurting more than anything though ๐Ÿ˜ณ Not doing a great deal of whizzing lately am struggling with post christmas fitness or should I say lack off.

How was Healey Nab after all the weather? might be heading over there tomorrow night.

Was in pretty decent shape, only a little muddy in places.

Our stomping ground if you don't mind!

We were out (about 10 of us).

A mahoosive group went past the other way (they were heading down BW from Sunnyhurst towards Roddlesworth woods).

Then about 4 more on top who we met again near bridge in Roddlesworth.

And about 5 runners with lights.

Busy for a wet Tuesday.

"Our stomping ground if you don't mind!" (LOL) where you the ones getting back into your cars at the pub in Abbey Village about 8.30ish?

Yes that was us going to Healey nab.

The Runners are from Darwen Dashers we share the Butties @ the Sunnyhurst Pub with them after our ride and there run.

I think you'll find Lowey owns Darwen moor. Don't tell me you've not been filling out the forms to ride on his land. There's going to be trouble ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I don't ****in' think so. He can have the Bowton side but he's no Darrener! Some of us have been riding these moors for 20 years not like these JCL's... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah that would have been us at 8.30 (I drove to start instead of riding - didn't fancy pedalling the road in fog with all the rush hour car dashers)

I thought Lowey just owned rights to the Democratic Republic of Rivington?
