Is there a trail over from the Warren House or thereabouts that is worth riding ? ( eg, not just tussocky nothingness )

Not at the mo mate. That's the trail we were gonna do the other wknd, but the weather has messed it up and according to Simon the cheeky stuff around the dam is a mess. They use the trail opposite Bennetts to get there, then work over to N. Bovey

Might be out on Saturday but can't do anything strenuous or technical. Was hoping to just potter about one of the forests to get some fresh air. Thought that riding out to Fernworthy might be flattish and add a few km to the ride.
Guess I'll have to go from Dunnabridge over to Bellever.

They use the trail opposite Bennetts to get there

That's what I was thinking of.
