Are they any good?
They need to do 100miles a week with 1 or 2 of that off road
Anybody?
I had a set and ran them locked out for commuting (20 miles a day) and did a bit of MTB on them, not much though. I was very happy with them and they lasted 2 and a bit years. Then I decided to service them and that was the end of them! 🙂
They're ok for on road and a bit off road but they're not very good for a lot of off roading IMHO. They're very stiff for me, which helped on road.
Run them till they knackered, then get something else.
They're decent for a budget fork, a step above the dart 2s anyway but for 100 miles a week with 1 or 2 offroad I'd not be getting suspension at all.
Had dart 2s - the spring was too stiff, they flexed like anything, weighed a ton and seized up. Am sure the Dart 3s would be a huge improvement. *sarcasm*
Wouldn't you be better off with a carbon rigid fork?
