Doing more miles on the road to get fit.

My cheap ebay bike was heavy and uncomfortable, so I got my old race bike resprayed and added a few new bits (well every thing actually)

The Result:

It's a much more comfortable ride and seems so much faster, but is a bit twitchy ๐Ÿ™‚

Details of the bits, and old and new paint job here

If you're going to call it dark side then let me refer you to the rules

You are currently in breach of 40, 41 and 45 as far as I can see.

Otherwise, it's a cracking looking bike. The detailing is lovely, who did the paintwork?

Good God, that's beautiful.

Superb colour, and I even like the rug.

You've clearly missed the mudguards and girls ring.

But yeah, apart from that, nice.

Ahem.

Road bikes without mudguards are purely an affectation:

Unless you're in a race, of course.

Nice to see some spacers under that stem as well.
'Slammed' my arse.

Only weapons grade bellends use the term darkside.

๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for comment s

bigG, I'll give you rule 40 and 41, but not 45. The stem is flush with headset. Forks are 1" threaded, so had to use an adaptor to fit a 1.1/8th stem.
Paintwork done by Woodrup in Leeds - great job 2

As for mudguards and low gearing, well I live in the north and my legs ain't what they used to be ๐Ÿ™‚

Dick_P - thanks for your valuable insight
