Smacked an overhanging tree fairly hard over the weekend. I had my light mount on. Would you continue to ride it like this or is it scrap?

scrap.

I knocked myself out some time ago using a recon 661. the dent in the back of the lid was only a little over that depth.

I wasnt impressed so when recovered smacked it hard against the corner of a wall. Sure enough it takes a lot of force to compress like that.

I'd replace it. The damage to the shell doesn't matter but that looks like the inner will be damaged, so not worth the risk. Having said that I've donked my head on branches before and ignored it
